Covid-19 Era: Virtual/ Neo Bank | Financial Health of SMEs and Individuals
We have acclimated our lifestyles to deal with the restrictions imposed during this coronavirus period. This June, we will be exploring how Virtual / Neo Banks have been catapulted to the forefront given the advantage brought about by not just the technology they use, but their entire business model. We will examine what the fundamental differences are between these new age banks compared to their more traditional counterparts and get direct access into some of the leaders in this space making waves beyond just the banking industry. Competition however remains robust in this space and we will review some of the players who are making bold moves to capture a larger market share during this period.
The second topic will hit closer to home, with a discussion on how healthy the financials are for the average person and the local businesses in our APAC region. There have been stimulus packages, grants, welfare assistance and new policy initiatives launched in our respective countries but what does it actually mean to the person on the street? New habits have been formed over the last few months. Innovators, early adopters, early majority, late majority, laggards and technophobes have all been forced into accepting massive changes to accepting the changes in their lifestyles.
How will everyone’s finances fare once these habits take root as the new norm?
Join us as we explore and deconstruct these two very exciting topics hosted by BPCBT, organized by FortNynja and supported by Magic, LawTech Malaysia & UNCDF.
